Swimming teacher
As a Swimming Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of what we do—delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that put swimmers first.
You’ll be:

Teaching children of varying ages and abilities

Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment

Communicating clearly with swimmers, parents, and the Seahorse team

Representing Seahorse Swim School with professionalism and enthusiasm
Previous teaching experience and qualifications are desirable, but not essential—we can support training for the right candidate.

Swimming teaching assistant
Our Teacher Assistants support Swimming Teachers in delivering safe, fun, and well-organised lessons.
You’ll be:

Supporting swimmers in the water

Assisting with lesson structure and class management

Helping maintain a safe and welcoming pool environment

Building confidence and experience working with children
This role is ideal if you’re considering a future career as a Swimming Teacher or enjoy working in a supportive, hands-on role.

Lifeguard
Our Lifeguards play a vital role in keeping swimmers safe during sessions.
You’ll be:

Monitoring pool safety and swimmer wellbeing

Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies

Working closely with teachers and staff
-
Maintaining high safety and professional standards
A valid lifeguard qualification is required, but we can advise on training routes if you’re not yet qualified.
